Hi Ouyans!
Yes, Ouya fans are now Ouyans, I hope you like it, if no.. doesn't matter ;)
What I want to talk today is, as you can easily imagine, the Julie Hurman's decision of upgrading the Ouya hardware every year.
Julie said : the company will upgrade the console on annual basis, taking advantage of faster and more powerful processors, all the while maintaining its 99$ price point.
Due to its Android-based Operating System, Hurman assures that each new Ouya with refreshed hardware will preserve backward compatibility, thought, obviously older consoles may be unable to run more advances titles as time goes on.
Surprisingly and in an original way, the consoles will take on new naming conventions to reflect the annual upgrades, such as Ouya 2, 3.. and so on.
What do you think about it?
The console hasn't been released yet and we can already see a new Ouya (with a NVidia Tegra 4 on board) in sight.
Do you agree with the Ouya's company roadmap?
What about the fragmentation?
