It will be available on the Play Store for $9.99 and will include all of the original content including Baldur's Gate and the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion, as well as some brand new, never-before-seen goodies such as a new party member: Rasaad yn Bashir, a monk of the Order of the Sun Soul and a new adventure.
The game will be built on a shiny new version of the Infinity Engine, and will include higher resolution graphics as seen in the pictures below.
A variety of enhancements will be available for in-app purchasing, including new portrait and voice sets.
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition for Android Tablets contains the following enhancements:
- New Adventure: The Black Pits
- New Character: Dorn Il-Khan as an in-app purchase
- New Character: Neera the Wild Mage as an in-app purchase
- New Character: Rasaad yn Bashir
- New Player Voice sets as an in-app purchase
- New Player Portraits as an in-app purchase
- Multiplayer support between all platforms
A very cool feature are cross-platform parties.. so you can go on quests with your friends regardless what platform they are on.
The versions for MacOS X, iPad and PC will come out on September 18th, whereas the Android version is TBA.
